How to Engage Culture or is it cultures (plural)? Theology On Mission Podcast #10

For your holiday listening. The latest Theology on Mission podcast. Here we engage the questions of How does the church engage culture in terms of power? Is power a bad thing? I’m particularly concerned about the way churches get absorbed into broader antagonistic forces at work in discourses of power. Included in this podcast are Geoff and I talking about different ways of thinking about church and culture(s); from H. Richard Niebuhr influential author of Christ and Culture to James Davison Hunter (To Change the World), and why this matters to the local church. I go off a little on Hunter’s views. Take a few minutes today, relax and listen if you’ve got some time. 🙂
