Fresh Expressions Coming to the Midwest

Just a note for people in the Midwest: “Fresh Expressions” will be gathering folks here in the Midwest in Mishawaka IN at River Valley Church, Saturday February 23rd. Fresh Expressions is a movement that began in England 8 years ago. It has resulted in the birth of 2,000 new communities in the UK alone. Fresh Expressions has spread to Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, and is now taking shape in the US. At its heart, Fresh Expressions is about empowering and equipping God’s people to develop creative expressions of church that can reach the increasing diversity of our society. I’m a fan of learning from the Fresh Expressions experience in UK. And I love the term “fresh expression of the gospel” (I use it often and stole it from them). If you’re interested it’s free.
