Jazlyn Ruiz is a communication strategist and artist in Orlando, FL. She is passionate about seeing all parts of life as a conversation within and with creation, toward God. Jazlyn’s motivating force is to reach across boundaries with compassion and promote cultural sustainability in every collaboration.

Growing up in West Michigan, she was fortunate to watch her parents serve in ministry and to participate alongside them for many years. She served as a musician and worship leader in local churches across the city while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance, Choreography, and Communication from Hope College.

Today, Jazlyn works alongside her family to build a simple church network for the greater Orlando area, serving as a communications support and worship leader. Inspired by the simple church vision of embodying the church wherever we go, she also enjoys gathering creative believers and dancers for liturgical movement sessions to discover Dance as a Spiritual Practice. The sessions developed from a fervent belief that, in friendship with Christ, we can have a whimsical approach to prayer and worship and enjoy how we live, move, and have our being with God.
