Afrika Afeni Mills, M.Ed., is an Elder and Assistant Pastor at Grace Communion – Steele Creek in Charlotte, NC, a trained Spiritual Director, and facilitator of the 2024–2025 Women in Ministry cohort with Made for Pax. Afrika is an author, education consultant, Founder and CEO of Continental Drift, LLC, and TED-Ed speaker; her talk, Four Ways to Have Healthy Conversations About Race, has been viewed over 1.1 million times. She lives in Charlotte with her husband, adult children, and their sassy pup, Rabbit.
